Yet another Harmony upgrade: new carpet for the narthex will happen Monday, but first – out with the old! Much thanks to everyone who got ‘er done quickly on Thursday – but especially to Russ for getting this ball – er, carpet – rolling on the first phase.

Did you know? The narthex (lobby area) in the early Christian church was for penitents. It’s purpose was to allow those not eligible for admittance into the general congregation to hear and still be able to partake in the service.

Of course over time that purpose has evolved and changed. All are welcome in the Harmony sanctuary! Penance is still required, but that is a private matter between you & God through prayer, wherever you may be . . .
